ChrisKen Residential Trust

ChrisKen Residential Trust (CRT) is a private real estate investment trust (REIT), which provides its investors the opportunity to participate in the ownership of a real estate portfolio that presently consists of 22 apartment communities totaling 4,258 apartment units in 10 states.

CRT investments offer an excellent way to diversify portfolios. Its stock holders are able to invest in high quality real estate without a large capital investment. As a saveguard, all operations of CRT are directed by a Board of Trustees. This board is responsible for the overall management and control of the affairs of the Trust, while its majority of board members is independent from senior management.

As a REIT, CRT pools the capital of investors who want to participate in the real estate business without the illiquidity of direct ownership. These investors further benefit from REIT legislations by which CRT is required to pay at least 90% of taxable net income to its investors in the form of dividends that range from 7% - 10%.
