Please tell me that I’m not the only one keeping a cool head despite all the heat. Yes, it’s summer, yes it’s hot, and yes it’s Florida. Can you honestly say in candor that your A.C. unit isn’t set to, like 70° or something similar?
Now that that’s off my chest, here’s something that causes me trouble: not having my cup’o joe in the morning or afternoon. Here are some good coffee joints in the area.
Le Bon Cafe - The coffee here is strong and smells great, and every Sunday they “treat” all of our “best friends” with the “Sunday doggie cafe”.
House of Joe - If this place has a crucial flaw, it’s that it feels “a little too Panera.” Otherwise, the coffee, smoothies, and sandwiches are all pretty good.
Indian River Coffee - By no means associated with the OJ people, IRC makes a mean espresso and has some tasty pastries.
Art of Coffee - If you ever find yourself over in the Cocoa Beach area, you’ll want to swing by AoC. An “art gallery coffeehouse,” all of AoC’s beans are organic, and their sandwiches aren’t bad either.
