“Space: the final frontier.” This line is synonymous with Star Trek and space travel. This summer the two will get a chance to physically intertwine at the Kennedy Space Center.
Star Trek: The Exhibition debuts Saturday, June 11th at 9am, at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, initiating the four-month run of the exhibition.
Therein, you can expect to find an immense display of memorabilia: iconic sets (Capt. James T. Kirk’s chair and the command bridge set), costumes, and props (gadgetry like phasers and communicators) that have accrued over the franchises four plus decades of history. There is also a five-minute simulator ride, called “The Star Trek Shuttlecraft Simulator Adventure.”
The Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Center is a 45 minute drive from the Lakeside at Greenboro Apartments.
