Rocket Into Space at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex!
A while back, we posted about the debut of Star Trek: The Exhibition at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (KSCVC). For today’s post, we’re going to revisit the subject of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
Last month, we all felt (and many of us witnessed) the launch of the final space shuttle, Atlantis. Despite this fact, the KSCVC is by no means concluding its exhibitions. For starters, Atlantis will find its new home within the KSCVC as a part of the Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit (ground on the exhibit will be broken in 2012 with a grand opening planned for 2013).
The KSCVC is also participating in the Sci-Fi Summer - the Mission contest, wherein two lucky winners will be selected for space flight training, and will go on a trip to space aboard the XCOR Aerospace Lynx Vehicle.
Experience this and much more at the KSCVC this summer!
The Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Center is a 45 minute drive from the Lakeside at Greenboro Apartments.
