Casting off from Camp Holly, airboat rides at an exciting experience.

Rather than devoting a single post to a particular place or event, we’ve decided to focus this post on a series of fun or fascinating things to do in the area.

Dolphin and manatee boat tours - If you like dolphins, and you like manatees, then this tour’s for you. Tours depart Mon-Sat. at 1pm, and Sun. at 3:3opm from Kelly Park, which is a 30ish minute drive from Lakeside at Greenboro.

On the Edge Rock Climbing Gym - For anyone that love rock climbing, or is looking to try it out in a safe and controlled environment, then On the Edge is for you. Its a few minutes up the road from Lakeside at Greenboro.

West Coast Swing - “It don’t mean a thing, if it ain’t got that swing!” If you’re looking to learn how to swing dance, then these Wednesday classes at the Henegar Center for the Arts are where you need to be. The Henegar Center is a 10 minute drive from Lakeside at Greenboro.

Airboat Rides - While it probably lacks the lofty grandeur of parasailing, there is something to be said about flying through St. Johns marsh on a boat propelled by its own wind. Located a 14 minute drive from Lakeside at Greenboro.
