Get Out and About This Memorial Day Weekend

The Tico Warbird Museum is having a FREE open house from Saturday, May 28th through Monday, May 30th.
If you’re like me than you haven’t quite figured out what you’d like to do this Memorial Day weekend, only that you don’t want to lay on the couch all weekend watching TV or playing Portal 2 (because its so much fun!). With that said, there’s plenty to do this Memorial Day Weekend.
The Tico Warbird Museum is having a FREE open house from Saturday, May 28th through Monday, May 30th from 9am to 5pm on all three days. At about 40 minutes, its a bit of a drive from The Lakeside at Greenboro Apartments.
The Brevard Zoo is hosting its first ice cream social on Sunday, from 11:30am to 3:30pm at the Nyami Nyami River Lodge. The social features all-you-can-eat ice cream from Ben & Jerry’s, Alpine Yogurt Café, Cold Fusion Ice Cream, and more, as well as music, crafts, kids’ games and animal encounters. Tickets cost $5, plus Zoo general admission ($13.75 for adults), and the Brevard Zoo is a 15 minute drive from The Lakeside at Greenboro Apartments.
