I doubt we’re the only ones in the Lakeside Apartments that enjoy this, so its definitely worth mentioning. There are a variety of places in the area for people looking to do either freshwater or saltwater fishing. Consider the following:
Roffer’s Ocean Fishing Forecasting Service (ROFFERS) - Its pretty much what it sounds like: a scientific consulting company that provides a worldwide fisheries oceanographic consulting service by combining fisheries oceanography and real-time satellite remote sensing to produce tactical and strategic fisheries forecasts. If you’re going fishing in the ocean, it might pay to call them ahead of time and make sure that the fish are “biting” where you’re going.
Strike-Zone Fishing - Located about 5 minutes up the road, this is a “go-to” place for fishing supplies. They’ve got everything from poles and hooks, bait and tackle, and much more.
Native Sons Fishing Guides - You’ll have to drive about 30 minutes to Merritt Island, but this is one of the most affordable and professional salt water fishing guides in the area. They’re great for anyone looking to “get their feet wet” with oceanic fishing.
